Singapore

Sentosa is an island resort off Singapore’s southern coast, connected to the city by road, cable car, pedestrian boardwalk and monorail. By Sentosa Station, Tiger Sky Tower has panoramic views that can stretch as far as Indonesia. On the south coast, Palawan Beach is lined with food stalls and bars, and has a suspension bridge to a small offshore island. Palm-lined, crescent-shaped Tanjong Beach is more tranquil. We spent one day at Sentosa after our trip to Indonesia.  We had some budget to spend, and the barman said we should relax and pay the bill afterwards.  Six Carlsberg lagers later, and R1500 later! The island is very popular, and ships can be seen very close to shore.   In the middle bottom photo these big container carrying ships can be seen.  We swam to the sharkline about 400 meters from shore, but the sea is more like a dam, no waves. Elize tried the indoor skydiving, which was pretty hefty in price for a three minute exercise....
