The United Arab Emirates, or simply the Emirates, is a country in Western Asia. It is located at the eastern end of the Arabian Peninsula and shares borders with Oman and Saudi Arabia, while having maritime borders in the Persian Gulf with Qatar and Iran.

Marcus Evans se interne oudit konferensie het die geleentheid geskep om Dubai te besoek, en alhoewel die besoek kort was, was daar genoeg tyd om die ou gedeelte te explore.  Ek dink daar is meer migrante as inwoners, terwyl dit sonder twyfel die skoonste stad in die wereld moet wees.   Baie welvaart, baie warm, en geweldig duur.


  The historic quarter of Al Bastakiya dates back to the 19th century and is the oldest residential quarter in Dubai. Visitors can walk around the maze-like streets and admire the original architecture of this neighbourhood established by merchants.

Cederberge - Gatjie Boskamp

Die Gatjie Boskamp bied ‘n rustige kampervaring tussen die berge. Daar is baie rostformasis om te sien. Daar is ‘n kuier-lapa waar almal saamkuier en die kamp geniet. Die rivier by Die Gatjie Boskamp vloei vanaf die wintermaande tot Desember.
